WASHINGTON — Planned Parenthood Federation of America released the following statement honoring Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his commitment to reducing racial disparities in access to health care. Dr. King spoke passionately about the need for equity in health care, saying in 1966 that “Of all the forms of inequality, injustice in health care is the most shocking and inhumane.”
