I have heard from some of my friends and read in magazines that you can not get pregnant the first time you have sex even if he ejaculates in you. I am still a virgin so I want to know: Is this true? When I decide to have sex should i use protection or is it ok not to?
This is completely false! Any girl who has unprotected vaginal intercourse runs the risk of becoming pregnant, whether it’s her first time having sex or the 100th time. It’s even possible to become pregnant before ever having a period. Pregnancy can happen when ejaculate or pre-ejaculate gets in the vagina or on the vulva. Having sex without using a latex or internal condom also puts you at risk for sexually transmitted infections.Teens who have vaginal intercourse need to make choices about birth control and preventing infections.
