Someone asked usWhat is sex between lesbians like? How do lesbians have sex?

In general, lesbians may have oral sex, or they may engage in scissoring, or they may use sex toys. But there’s no one way to have sex — no matter what your sexual orientation or gender identity is. When it comes to sex, what people do depends on what they like and enjoy.

Thanks to porn, movies, taboos, and stigmas, there are stereotypical ideas about how people should have sex based on who they’re sexually attracted to. For example, you might think that sex between heterosexual people is mainly about vaginal sex (penis and vagina), that gay people mainly have anal sex, and that lesbians mainly have oral sex or use sex toys that look like penises for vaginal penetration. And although some of this may happen, the truth is that sex is often much more varied.

No matter how and with whom you have sex, as long as everyone involved is consenting, there’s no right way to do it.  And no matter what kind of sex you’re having, there’s always a risk of contracting sexually transmitted infections, so make sure you get tested regularly and practice safer sex.
