Medication abortion / Abortion pill$600
The abortion pill (also known as a medication abortion) is offered up to 12 weeks after the first day of your last menstrual period. It is a safe and effective way of ending an early pregnancy.
If your last period was more than 12 weeks ago, we can still help. Call us for a referral list of health care providers in your area that offer other abortion services.
Abortion pill (medication abortion) services are available by appointment only.
Medication abortion (the abortion pill) involves taking two medications (mifepristone and misoprostol) up to 48 hours apart; both medications must be taken while you are in the state of Michigan.
Your medication abortion appointment will be like any other appointment, except that, when it is time, you may connect with a provider by a secure video conference for a face-to-face visit where they will prescribe the appropriate medications, if it is appropriate to do so.
What To Expect During Your Appointment
Plan to be at the health center for 5 hour(s) for your entire visit.
Post-Appointment Information
We'll follow up with you, if you’d like, within 1 week(s) to make sure your abortion is complete and that you are well.
In the unlikely event that you are still pregnant, you may need another dose of medicine or to have an in-clinic abortion to end the pregnancy.
We’ll also give you after-care instructions and a phone number you can call with any questions or concerns.
