Post-Appointment Information
We'll follow up with you, if you’d like, within 1-2 week(s) to make sure your abortion is complete and that you are well.
In the unlikely event that you are still pregnant, you may need another dose of medicine or to have an in-clinic abortion to end the pregnancy.
We’ll also give you after-care instructions and a phone number you can call with any questions or concerns.

In-clinic abortion (also known as surgical abortion) is offered up to 17 weeks and 6 days after the first day of your last menstrual period.

What To Expect During Your Appointment
Plan to be at the health center for 4-5 hour(s) for your entire visit for an in-clinic abortion.
When you choose an abortion service at our health center, you may also receive the following: pregnancy test pregnancy dating (ultrasound)
At times there may be protesters outside of the health center. We suggest you avoid interaction with them.
UT Requirements
Informed Consent for Abortion Services
In Utah, you must complete a state mandated online information module, obtain face-to-face informed consent, and wait 72 hours before having an abortion. You can obtain face-to-face informed consent anywhere in the state from any licensed provider, including physicians, nurses, and social workers. All Planned Parenthood health centers in Utah can provide "informed consent" to women who are considering terminating her pregnancy.
