PROFESSIONAL CLOTHING DRIVE IN PRESCOTT VALLEY TO BENEFIT STEPPING STONES AGENCIES
For Immediate Release: Jan. 30, 2014
Planned Parenthood invites the community to make donations
PRESCOTT VALLEY—Planned Parenthood Arizona’s Yavapai Health Center is holding a professional clothing drive to benefit Stepping Stones Agencies, October 10 through November 1.
The Prescott Valley-based health center is having the drive as part of its participation in Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The public can drop off men’s and women’s professional clothes and shoes, as well as children’s clothes and shoes at the health center during its business hours. The health center is located at 7750 E. Florentine Road in Prescott Valley.
"We are proud to be holding this clothing drive for Stepping Stones Agencies,” says Bryan Howard, President and CEO of Planned Parenthood Arizona. “Many of the women and men who rely on us for health care services also rely on the services provided by this amazing organization. We want to help them be successful in their job search by providing them with a professional suit or dress.”
Stepping Stones Agencies has been providing emergency shelter and services to women and children in West Yavapai County since 1980. Professional clothing donations enable those they serve to go on job interviews with appropriate attire.
Planned Parenthood’s Yavapai Health Center is open Monday, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.; Tuesday, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.; Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. and Thursday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. We welcome you to stop by with your donation.
