Thanks for Joining PPCWNY at Pride!

We had so much fun participating in Buffalo, Syracuse, and Rochester’s Pride activities this year! We walked in all three of the parades and tabled at each festival (and at Batavia Pride, too!).

We’d like to thank everyone who participated with us at Pride 2024, especially our amazing volunteers and supporters! You helped make the occasion special and contributed to PPCWNY’s inclusive “in this together” ethos.

Here are a few highlights from PPCWNY’s adventures at Pride 2024:

  • Peer Educators from the PPCWNY program Teen Reality Theatre walked in the Buffalo parade on June 2
  • They, alongside other staff and supporters, decorated DEI Director Richelle B.’s van with Pride flags, balloons, and streamers
  • At all of the celebrations, PPCWNY handed out safer sex materials, stickers, buttons, and information about our programs and services
  • For the Rochester parade on July 20, staff decorated HR Manager Claire A.’s truck with balloons, garland, and banners
  • Our Marketing Team created some beautiful Pride graphics for us to use in our communications and social media

Again, thank you so much for making Pride a favorite day on PPCWNY’s calendar – this year and every year. Hope to see you in 2025!
