For Immediate Release: Oct. 19, 2017
COLUMBUS, OH — LGBT Community Centers are powerful spaces within the neighborhoods they serve, offering assistance accessing social services, mental health counseling, cultural programs, recreational activities, education programs, support groups, elder support, and numerous other vital programs that affect an often underserved and marginalized population in Ohio. During National LGBT Center Awareness Day, Planned Parenthood of Greater Ohio (PPGOH) recognizes the dedicated work and commitment of The LGBT Community Center of Greater Cleveland and its efforts to enrich the lives of the diverse LGBTQ community it serves.
