Our volunteers donate thousands of hours of time each year and are crucial for helping Planned Parenthood of Greater Washington and North Idaho provide exceptional health care, honest education, and fearless advocacy for all.

Types of Volunteer Opportunities

Community Outreach

Planned Parenthood actively participates in community outreach through events such as health fairs and Pride festivals to raise awareness about our services. Volunteers can also engage with supporters via text or phone banking and letter writing.  

Events

Planned Parenthood hosts a range of regional fundraising and educational events. Volunteers can assist with various aspects of event support, including pre-event planning, day-of operations, setup, guest assistance, and teardown. 

Advocacy 

Advocacy volunteers assist with lobbying during legislative session, support the Raiz and Health Center Advocacy programs, and share impactful stories. Check out Become an Activist for information on advocacy opportunities.
