Search is on for a new, larger site to serve more patients.
Planned Parenthood Mar Monte’s West Oakland health center at 1682 Seventh Street, which has annually served thousands of Oakland residents with incomes below the federal poverty level, is closing on June 30 so that PPMM can find a new facility to accommodate our growing number of patients in the community.
In the meantime, all of our West Oakland patients can be served at our large site in East Oakland, the Coliseum health center at 8480 Enterprise Way, or via telehealth at any of our other 34 health centers.
This provides an exciting opportunity for Planned Parenthood Mar Monte to expand to a new site by 2022 that will be thoughtfully constructed and meet our standards so that we can continue to provide excellent sexual and reproductive health services to those who need and deserve it – and who are often unable to access this care anywhere else.
We are committed to ensuring that we can serve every patient who walks through our doors with the trusted, high quality, and non-judgmental care that PPMM is known for. We are proud to serve the residents of Oakland who need us.
