What is comprehensive prenatal care?

The comprehensive Prenatal Care Program at our Fresno Family First health center is an extension of our Family Medicine Program. Patients receive one-on-one care with a team who gets to know you and your family.

Using ACOG guidelines, we provide check-ups throughout your pregnancy to keep you and your pregnancy healthy. We monitor your future baby’s development and do routine testing to help find and prevent possible problems. These regular checkups are also a great time to learn how to ease any discomfort you may be having, and ask any other questions about your pregnancy and the birth of your future baby. We offer pregnancy verification, all recommended prenatal labs including genetic testing, ultrasounds throughout pregnancy, and help navigating care and choosing a delivery hospital.

Who should seek prenatal care with PPMM?

Our doors are open to everyone. We primarily care for low-risk pregnancies but have strong partnerships with our community hospitals in case you need more complex care. We are proud to offer care to Medi-Cal recipients and patients who may be under-insured. At PPMM you will be cared for with expertise in a supportive environment.
