PPNNE Announces Environmental Health Conference

Planned Parenthood of Northern New England will present a conference entitled, A Critical Link: The Environment and Women's Health
Burlington (VT) – Planned Parenthood of Northern New England (PPNNE) announced today that it is presenting A Critical Link: The Environment and Women’s Health conference on September 10, 2009 in Burlington, Vermont.
This ground-breaking conference will feature a keynote address by ecologist, author, and cancer survivor Sandra Steingraber. In addition to her address there will be a panel discussion, “We are part of the solution.” of environmental health experts, moderated by Dave Rapaport, Seventh Generation’s senior director of corporate consciousness. Members of the panel include: Mia Davis, national grassroots coordinator for the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics, Ann Blake, Ph.D., presenting The Chemicals Around Us, Janet Gray, Ph.D., presenting Environmental Risks and Breast Cancer, and Elise Miller, M.Ed., presenting Environmental Contributors to Learning and Developmental Disabilities.
