We celebrate all women and their incredible achievements. Across all areas of our lives — political, economic, social, academic, cultural, and more — women keep our global community strong and moving forward.
- We celebrate every woman who has marched, demanded change from their elected officials, told their stories, and organized in their communities.
- We celebrate the women health care workers, essential workers, and caregivers on the front line of the pandemic, working every day to keep their communities safe and supported.
- We celebrate the women in our lives who embody the very spirit of leadership, love, and strength.
- We recognize the work ahead to finally ensure that people’s health, rights, and ambitions are valued and protected equally, regardless of their gender.
Sadly, we know there are miles to go on this journey. According to the World Economic Forum, none of us will see gender parity in our lifetimes, and most likely, neither will many of our children. We need to close gaps across education, pay, political representation, and more.
We know gender equity isn’t achievable until all people are empowered with bodily autonomy, and with full access to sexual and reproductive health and rights.
To truly honor women around the world, we cannot just thank them — we must work in solidarity with them in the fight for their rights.
