LGBTQ communities are resilient, powerful, and joyful — even in the face of relentless attempts to undo the progress of the last half century and attack LGBTQ people’s health, rights, and lives. This June — the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots — Planned Parenthood proudly celebrates the strength and activism of LGBTQ people.
As we continue to fight back against those who wish to move this country backwards, we reaffirm our commitment to building a world where no one experiences discrimination or violence because of their gender identity, gender expression, or sexual orientation.
Planned Parenthood believes that LGBTQ rights and reproductive rights are linked, and we must lift up both to achieve justice for all. We have long stood with lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer people in the fight for full equality — many of whom turn to Planned Parenthood for health care, information, and education.
Our incredible patients and supporters don't comprise any one identity, and we're grateful for the many volunteers, staff, and supporters of all genders and identities who work every day to ensure that people in communities across the country and the globe get the health care and information they need.
Everyone deserves good health care. Everyone deserves a sex life that is healthy, happy, and free from shame and stigma. Everyone deserves a health care provider who understands your needs and respects you.
Planned Parenthood provides vital health care services for all people, regardless of sexual orientation, gender expression, and/or gender identity. Whether you’re gay or straight, trans or cis, you can come to us for cancer screenings, STI testing and treatment, birth control, abortion, and other health care services.
Planned Parenthood's doors are open to everyone. We believe that all people deserve high-quality, affordable health care and compassionate, nonjudgmental sexual health information — no matter who they are or where they live. That’s why we work in partnership with LGBTQ communities to expand their access to health care — this June, and every month of the year.
