It’s sex education season for many educators. That’s why we just launched new and improved courses for educators and students on Planned Parenthood’s free Sex Ed To-Go education portal.
“Teachers can now assign students a full series of courses on sex education with just the click of a button,” said Chrissy Cmorik, director of education and community engagement at Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest. “Providing effective, inclusive sex education to young people has never been easier.”
Bonus: all of the classes meet California state requirements for comprehensive, inclusive sex education.
Double bonus: many of the classes are available in both English and Spanish.
Extra credit: we also include lesson plans, slides, and supplemental activities teachers need.
“Obviously nothing can replace the power of in-person education, but these courses ensure everyone has access to foundational knowledge taught in a comprehensive and inclusive way,” Cmorik said.
