The Women’s March is hosting its annual mobilization on January 18, 2020 in Washington, D.C. and in cities across the nation — including San Diego: Our own Darrah DiGiorgio Johnson, President and CEO of Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest, will be a speaker!
The theme this year is “Women Rise.” With over four million participants, the first Women’s March of 2017 is still the largest single day mobilization in this country’s history. Join us at one of our three local marches:

After three years of marching, three years of training, and three years of building political power, the Women’s March is launching into its fourth chapter with a fresh face, renewed energy to take on Trumpism, and a plan to build with a growing community of activists.
“In January 2017, we saw what can happen when millions of people across the country come together to reclaim their power,” said Alexis McGill Johnson, Acting President and CEO of Planned Parenthood Federation of America. “Since then, women have continued to make their voices heard in their communities and at the ballot box...now, the stakes are higher than ever— but we are ready.”
If you're going to the San Diego Women's March, make sure you have a picture taken with our own mascot, Uterina:
“The women’s march was an empowering experience driven by a camaraderie I’ve never experienced before. I will be attending again to march with my sisters and I hope to see you there too.” -Uterina (aka, Lisette).
