Important information of the visit
You MUST have MyChart to complete your telehealth appointment!
Before your appointment:

Please activate MyChart

Check your email for sign-up link to MyChart patient portal or visit MyChart for PPSP

You can access MyChart via the web or a mobile app.

It is recommended that you download the MyChart app if you are using a mobile device. It is easy and free!

Create a username and password of your choosing and enter your date of birth. Click Submit.

Complete eCheck-In prior to your visit up to 7 days before your appointment

Log-in to MyChart to start your video about 10 minutes early to make sure you can connect
During your visit
·If you live out of state, you must be physically in the state of Pennsylvania for your visit. If you have any questions, please call 215-351-5550.
·You can use your smartphone for this visit. You can also connect with a laptop using Chrome or Firefox.
·Find a private space to connect during your visit.
·Refrain from other activities that require your attention, such as driving or walking in public.
·You will be able to register for your appointment 15 minutes before the scheduled time.
·If you do not register for your appointment within 10 minutes of the scheduled time, you will need to contact our office at xxx-xxx-xxxx to reschedule your appointment.
·If you disconnect during your visit, a PPSP staff member will call you to re-establish a new connection and continue with your appointment.
·A telehealth visit requires that you and the PPSP provider can see and hear each other. If you are unable or uncomfortable communicating in front of the camera, please contact our office at 215-351-5550 to see what other options are available.
·A staff member will share with you a message in our private chat to confirm that you can talk about your health and reproductive care safely and without coercion..
Important: Please allow enough time before your telehealth appointment begins to complete the MyChart registration and eCheck-In steps.
You will not be able to access your telehealth appointment until the eCheck-In process is complete.
Some patients may need to provide complete information about their medical history, which may take a little longer.
Drugs
Any necessary prescriptions will be sent to the pharmacy of your choice, including one of our centers.
Laboratory analysis
·Your clinician may order lab tests during your visit.
·For lab tests, you will go to a center near you or a LabCorp patient service center. An appointment may be required.
·LabCorp patient center locations and hours can be found here: https://www.labcorp.com/labs-and-appointments-advanced-search
·Bring a photo ID when visiting LabCorp.
·If you use insurance or Medicaid, bring your insurance card to LabCorp.
·If you pay for the visit yourself, LabCorp will not charge you when they collect your sample. Instead, you will pay for these lab tests during your telehealth appointment or receive a PPSP bill.
After your visit
- Log in to your MyChart patient portal to view post-visit documentation or instructions. You can also receive lab results through the portal.
- If your provider recommends face-to-face treatment, you will need to schedule an appointment at PPSP by phone at xxx-xxx-xxxx or online at https://www.plannedparenthood.org/planned-parenthood-illinois/locations
