UHPP is currently offering numerous volunteer opportunities that will help to spread the word about Prop 1!
Prop 1 (also known as the Equal Rights Amendment) will be on the ballot in November 2024. It will protect New Yorkers from discrimination based on pregnancy and pregnancy outcomes (abortion, miscarriage, etc.), sexual orientation, gender identity, race, ethnicity, national origin, age, and disability.
PROP 1 CANVASSING!
Please join us for our upcoming canvassing events! *No experience necessary! We will train you on the spot!*
Canvass on Saturday, September 28th from 10:00-1:00 pm, starting at Mc Quade Park in Coxsackie!
Canvass on Thursday, October 3rd from 5:30-8:00 pm, starting at the Albany Public Library (Bach Branch) on New Scotland Ave!
Canvass on Saturday, October 5th from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm, starting at the Bethlehem Public Library in Delmar!
Canvass on Saturday, October 12th from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm, starting at Washington Park in Albany!
PHONE BANKING
We have begun calling supporters to build our base of volunteers. Join us for an upcoming phone bank - you will be trained on the spot, no experience necessary!
WEEKLY VIRTUAL PHONE BANKS
If you would like phone bank from home, consider joining Planned Parenthood activists from across the state for virtual phone banks, every Wednesday night at 6 pm until Election Day!
