Volunteer/Internships
UHPP is hosting two activist trainings every month: one in-person and one via Zoom! Join us for one of these upcoming trainings to learn more about how to get involved with us!
Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood has volunteer and internship opportunities throughout the year! Volunteers and interns are a critical part of our organization, providing fearless activism for reproductive justice, uplifting the stories of patients, and spreading Planned Parenthood’s mission in our community.
If you are a member of our community who feels passionate about Planned Parenthood’s mission, we encourage you to inquire about volunteer opportunities here:
*Important Note*: The email address you use for the purposes of this application will be the main way that UHPP's Volunteer Coordinator will communicate with you. Check your Spam folder for emails from "[email protected]"
If you are a student at a college or university, please consider inquiring about our internship opportunities here:
For more information, contact [email protected]
*Important note: UHPP does not always have the capacity to take on an intern for the semester. However, we still recommend filling out the internship application above indicating your interest and availability so we have your information on file for future internship opportunities. Thank you.

Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood's Volunteer Opportunities
*If you are interested in joining our team as a volunteer in any of the following ways, please fill out the volunteer application linked above. Once you fill out this application, you will be added to an email list where you will get updates regarding upcoming volunteer training sessions, and various ways to get involved.*
Community Outreach Tabling Volunteers: Join a staff member at a community event as a tabling volunteer. Help our staff set up the table, and answer questions from community members about our services. Now more than ever, it is incredibly important that people know that our doors are open, and that Planned Parenthood will continue to be there for them.
Phone Banking: Join us for a phone bank to call potential volunteers to schedule them for activist trainings so that they can be prepared to spread the word about Prop 1 (the Equal Rights Amendment)!
Canvassing: Beginning in summer 2024. Join us to go door to door to educate the community about Prop 1 (the ERA)!
Abortion Care Kit Assemblers: In these turbulent times when the national landscape of abortion access is uncertain and concerning for those trying to access care, we want our patients from in state and out of state to know that we are here for them. Donate items for abortion care kits, or help to assemble care kits that will be distributed to abortion patients at our health centers, complete with comfort items and snacks.
